Free placements are pre-approved publication slots that Medialister makes available to eligible clients at no cost. When free placements are available for your account, they appear at the top of the To Publish column on your campaign board, ready to be claimed and used.
Eligibility is determined automatically. If no free placements are shown in your campaign board, none are currently available for your account.
Open any campaign board.
Look for free placement cards at the top of the To Publish column. Each card shows the publication name, its format type, and an Unlock Free Placement button.
Click Unlock Free Placement on the card you want to use.
Once claimed, the placement moves into your To Publish column as a regular booked order. You can then add content and submit it for publishing as you would with any other placement.
Only one placement can be claimed at a time
After you unlock a free placement it behaves exactly like a standard paid placement order:
Add your content in the order detail view.
Submit the content for the media's review.
Track its progress through the campaign board columns.
There are no additional charges for a claimed free placement.
