Medialister changelog
April, 2025. 1st Batch.

Updates for the Client Side
A new feature for orders in the client dashboard—the media swap on declined orders baked by Artur and Sergey:
Now, if an order is canceled, the system will suggest the most appropriate replacement for placing an order.
The swap options are suggested based on Ahrefs DR, the number and type of hyperlinks, organic traffic, turnaround time, category, language, country, and format type with the score calculating the difference between the original media and a suggested one.
When swapping, all the content and the publish date will be transferred to another order without requiring any additional clicks.
NB: The system can't suggest media for some niche formats; keep this in mind.
Other order updates:
Now, you can copy and paste images that were previously added in the editor to content.
If a media manager has not reviewed an order within 24 hours of its submission, the client will receive an email notification prompting them to follow up with the media manager or select another media option if deadlines are tight.
Here are the changes and fixes made in the marketplace:
The filter for turnaround time set to "Any" now functions as expected.
If a user is both a client and a media manager, switching to the client dashboard and then to the marketplace to find no buttons to buy was resolved by Rodion.
The buttons to remove an applied filter are now displayed only when the cursor hovers over them, making the entire area clearer.
Some examples were not visible because we couldn't retrieve meta information for the links. Now, this issue is addressed with a more reliable algorithm for obtaining meta information and a proper design for situations when we cannot access it anyway.
Updates for Media Managers
The media manager dashboard updates:
Yerkebulan and Pavel made the format addition flow more seamless.
After completing the KYB flow, we now redirect media managers directly to format addition. This streamlines the entire process to Media Adding → KYB → Format Adding.
In the table displaying all added media, we now mark those without formats, prompting users to add any formats so they can be listed in the marketplace.
The List/Delist Format(s) buttons are now disabled if no formats are added to a media item or if the organization is not yet verified. This change prevents the organization from earning through our marketplace and includes clear descriptive tooltips.
Rodion improved the process for verified organizations, so the system will no longer request KYB when adding more media.
The system will now warn if an entered media name cannot be validated and, therefore, cannot be used. Before, it was unclear for media managers in the media adding flow.
Sergey and Yerkebulan have updated the price-setting page for adding a format, making it more straightforward. Now, the entered price reflects the final earnings per placement, along with an explanation of how much it will be in the marketplace listing, including fees.
Page zoom no longer breaks the layout of the formatting.
The order changes:
The image is now correctly named as clients designated before adding it to the content when saved using Safari or Firefox. However, this issue still persists for Google Chrome users.
The publish date now can't be changed by a media manager.
Sergey resolved the issues that prevented the attachment of placement links containing URL parameters.
The payouts changes:
Daniil has made an improvement to the payout experience. Payouts under $300 are now processed faster, depending solely on how quickly Stripe handles them, bypassing the grace period that the Medialister payout system typically includes. For payouts over $300, the grace period remains at 7 days.
Other Changes
The email and password fields are now check if only spaces were entered.
In the main menu, you can now clearly see your role in the current organization.
